Just text for now.
I introduced a few guests to you this month via recorded audio. In case you just joined us, you can find these recordings here:
These discussions were fascinating to host and not possible without the fantastic guests. The conversations span across human rights around the globe, American exceptionalism, and what constitutes a public intellectual.
So please, check out the recordings above and let me know what you think.
In the meantime, I am putting together a series on ESG (Environmental Social Governance) that I hope you will find interesting. It will start to roll out in March.
There is always much to discuss, but I’d like to zoom in on a few more prominent issues that allow us to explore politics, technology, and business more thoroughly. I think ESG leaves room to achieve this end. I consider myself somewhat of a corporate activist, and I am very interested in understanding how governance structures impact high-level managers’ decision-making and how board members drive governance structure into the organization. Or the ways ESG shifts asset allocations and the effects these shifts have on markets. I want to ask important questions about what benefits ESG brings to the environment and social issues. I’d like to understand how ESG or something else could bring us closer to the stated objectives of improving society.
I’ll write again soon.
